It's wonderful that the ICHS family can come together to honour alumnae who have made their school and country proud. This occasion also allows supporters to invest in the lives of capable students who need financial support, said Senator Wehby.
He further stated, I am thrilled to also introduce the new award which
recognizes and pays tribute to G. Raymond Chang, a leading benefactor of
ICHS. The Award recognizes outstanding business leaders and philanthropists
who have contributed significantly to their communities and to Jamaica. It
is fitting that the inaugural award should be presented to Butch, who is
truly remarkable in his love for and service to Jamaica.
G. Raymond Chang was a successful Jamaican-Canadian entrepreneur and philanthropist who received both the Order of Jamaica and the Order of Canada. He passed away in 2014.
The ICHS Hall of Fame is chaired by Donette Chin-Loy Chang. Lead sponsor is GraceKennedy Limited.
