CHEMISTRY: Chemistry is a branch of natural science that deals principally with the properties of substances, the changes they undergo, and the natural laws that describe these changes. This course involves the study of the nature and properties of non living substances. This includes the need to understand the basic chemical concepts in sufficient depth to provide adequate foundation for specialisation, the relevance of chemistry to everyday life.
