Film Makers Society
The ICHS Film Makers' Society allows creative students to express their talents in music, writing, drama and art in the form of film. They enjoy each Wednesday afternoon putting heads together to develop their own short films or working hard to capture important events of Immaculate's active lifestyle on camera. The students learn about working in front of and behind the camera, and express their acting, editing, and directing talents in the creation of short films. The best part is learning the depth of film-making from the most intriguing professionals that come to speak to the club on the various aspects of film-making.

ICHS Symphony Orchestra
"Music expresses that which cannot be put into words, and cannot remain silent' --Victor Hugo.
The Immaculate Conception High School Symphony Orchestra (ICHS SO) has certainly not been remaining silent. We take part in several concerts throughout the school year.
While the venue varies and the theme changes, the standard of playing remains high as the approximately 100 students that make up the orchestra practice year round to maintain this.
The orchestra has participated in several school related activities and civic functions in the Kingston metropolitan area, including:
- Travelling to the Cayman Islands to perform in the Cayman Arts Festival in 2010
- Performing at the Holy Trinity Cathedral for the "Expressions of Love" concert. Of note was our first major performance of the first movement of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony.
- Participating in a workshop with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra from London in September, 2012.
- Performing at 'Classical Harmony', a concert in aid of Franciscan Sister, Sister Grace's charity.
The ICHS SO is conducted by Artist-In-Residence, Steven Woodham. Supporting tutors include Helen Bromley, Simone Kenny, Joseph Campbell and Pauline Gordon.
