HALL OF FAME

Immaculate Conception High School has been a leading and well-respected educational institution in Jamaica for more than 150 years and is known worldwide. Its faculty and staff have educated thousands of young women in Jamaica and from around the world, many have gone on to make an indelible mark in their respective fields.

The ICHS Hall of Fame is a collaborative effort between the Immaculate Conception High School Alumnae Associations around the world and the school's administration. This biennial benefit banquet is the brainchild of Donette Chin-Loy Chang, Class of 73, a founding member of the Toronto Chapter. The event is held in Kingston, Jamaica and has awarded more than five scholarships to bright, promising students and endeavours to raise over JMD$3 million each year. Inductees are nominated by members of the ICHSAA and selected by members of the planning committee.

The mission of the ICHS Hall of Fame is:

  • To honour and celebrate achievements of alumnae; past and present; members of faculty or staff; and personnel of religious orders, who have distinguished themselves in various fields and made outstanding contributions to ICHS; community building and nation building, for posterity.
  • To inspire the current student body to achieve excellence.
  • To reach out, encourage, and instil a greater sense of alumnae engagement worldwide.
  • To offer scholarships to current students in need and school development fund.
